SASSA Takes Expert Services to Fernie Neighborhood

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently checking out the Fernie 2 Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions into the community.

SASSA are going to be rendering services like new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer care enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency stated it's alarmed with regard to the superior range of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The purpose with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your large quantity of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“That is due to lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no totally functional office devoted to service the area daily. The provider level produced for intervention experiences a higher inflow of possible beneficiaries, which makes it tricky for the office to attend read more to all people who check out a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise far more sources to allow the servicing of all buyers and increase use of Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
